Me and my wife definitely enjoyed the our lunch here. The owner greeted us with good conversation and made us feel comfortable. The scenery is very nice and we enjoyed the jazz music . The food was delicious, we will be returning soon !
The food was wonderful. Gouda grits very delicious. Chicken and waffles with a maple mustard sauce was fantastic. Service was very good. Got to meet the owner who was very personable and friendly. Going back very soon to try dinner.
Really looking forward to eating here. I ordered the fried chicken. It had a burned taste and the mashed potatoes had little flavor. The mac and cheese was fantastic however! The owner was very nice and personable. I just wish the food was better.
Me and a friend went there tonight for dinner and had an overall awful experience. I would expect with this being a new business management would be more involved, but that did not seem to be the case tonight. First, my friend order wine and the waitress brought the wrong drink and asked her if she wanted to change her mind all because the server brought the wrong thing. The food is delicious and the service wa great. I had the pimento cheese hamburger and it taste so good and was very filling. My husband had the cast iron fried chicken with collard green and mac n cheese and all of it was delicious as well. Our waitress named Destiny had a great personality and did an excellent job with food suggestions. We'll definitely go back!
I was so hoping for a great meal here. I have seen nothing but good reviews. I ordered the fried chicken. It was so tough I couldn't cut it with the steak knife I was given. My husband and I both ordered green beans. They were barely warm and had no flavor what so ever. My mac and cheese looked good but I could tell it had been heated up in the microwave. Mashed potatoes were ok but the country fried steak was smaller than my palm. Not a great meal to say the least. Big disappointment.
We've been to DuLac's several times and have enjoyed the food and service every time! Last evening the owner and chief was our personal server!! He's great!!
They were out of most of the things we ordered and the food we got was just not very good. Service was fine but we didn't even eat half our dinners. Chicken was chewy and had a very strange flavor. Garlic mash tasted like a baked potato smashed on a plate. Would not recommend.
