We walked in was immediately greeted by Isaac! Very friendly young man. He gave us a menu and everything sounded so good it was very hard to choose, but we decided to go with the pork chops. They were absolutely delicious! Greens and yams were perfectly seasoned! A healthy serving and good prices. This is the kind of food i enjoy!and its s variety! The fried green tomatoes were really good. Jambalaya with shrimp hit the spot, a little taste of NOLA in El Cajon. The red beans and rice was also really good. Service was so friendly too. The only issue, if anything, was no alcohol to wash down all the good food.
Ribs were so good I wanted another stack! Cornbread served first slathered with honey! Kudos for thier making simple food great! Exelent choice in the entertainment!
The chef was wonderful and amazing. She had a beautiful spirit. I ordered gumbo, beef patties for an appetizer. The main course was catfish, greens, and mashed potatoes. The food was perfectly seasoned I didn't even use hot sauce. The portion sizes matched the prices and some. Our waitress was very kind and helpful. She kept a smile the whole time. I can't wait to go back on a Sunday for the peach � cobbler
