As a residential building designer, I've worked extensively with Bourne Engineering over the last 5 years. Jason's approach to structural engineering is unique in our area; he consistently delivers thorough, accurate, efficient, and detailed plans that look at the systems of a building as a whole, rather than disconnected pieces. He has a genuine passion for understanding and optimizing buildings to be beautiful and buildable; that is what I look for in a structural engineer.
Jason and Bourne Engeneering is the only Engineer that I know of that makes himself available for consulting when quick professional advise is required. He has proven valuable in clarifying and problem solving inspection reports and customer feasibilities that have saved transactions and saved thousands of unneeded repairs. He is very likable and trustworthy and has the respect of his pears and industry professionals.
