We decided to purchase a fire table to finish off our patio upgrade. Living in Royal Oak, it seemed logical to visit Boulier's Barbecue & Fireplace on Woodward. Upon entering we were directed upstairs and Nick showed us the four that were on display. Awful customer service. I purchased a Green Mountain Grill from them on 5/12. I live roughly an hour away from them because their hours match my own work hours, I had to leave work an hour and a half early just to make it on time. I also had to borrow a truck because I received a better "deal" on the floor model. I drive down, load the grill and the first thing that was alarming to me was the fact that the manual was missing and their solution was for me to download the manual and print it off at home. The long story short is my wife and I purchased a home with an unvented log fireplace. The couple times we tried to use it ended up with fumes so bad it made us sick. I was going to tear all the rock out and install a vented system. Then comes Matt & Gary. After ripping their ears up for 30min Matt suggested pulling the unit out and vacuuming it and lighting it without the logs installed. Unbelievable! It was all the darn logs. He saved me a few thousand bucks between a new unit, ducting to and through the roof and rock work... read more
Purchased a Broil King Signet from them over 15 years ago when they were still in Ferndale. Finally needed a new ignition unit. After a quick chat with the fellow at the counter , i went home and returned with the failed example. Oldest type used, and they had it in stock. Grilles have come a long way since i bought mine. You can spend more on a grille than a nice used car. Nice to have service parts for my now very humble grille . Priced right for at a proper brick and mortar.
