I was hesitant to place a spacer on my child's teeth, and I should have trusted my motherly instinct. His gum line is sore and jaw looks crooked. Pretty sure the orthodontics this was supposed to prevent, have been worsened by the treatment. I was also belittled for questioning the treatment. Told that I must pay the lab bill if I didn't want the product. When I researched spacers, they were just tiny little things, and I did not think it was going to be a big deal.
