Staff here is great! Especially Owen, he walked me through buying a new pair of shoes and helped me find the right ones
Fantastic gym with a welcoming atmosphere. All the staff genuinely make an effort to help you feel at home. The grading system encourages beginners to try challenging routes and fosters an inclusive environment for people of all backgrounds—I’ve made many friends here over the years. It’s also a great place for families. The route turnover is fast, so you never get bored, and the problems are thoughtfully designed: accessible for all body types and focused on technique rather than brute strength. I primarily use the fitness area. Given that it's a bouldering gym, the fitness area isn't the biggest or most equipped, but it's solid and gets the job done. Pros: - the beast / steep overhang is an epic, unique feature - pretty good mixture of routes, styles, and amazing variety of angles - vibes & people: from the outside at least, seemed like a chill, inclusive community - very clean gym with new holds and a nice design Cons: - steep membership rates compared to comparable gyms in area (and only bouldering) - very soft grades generally (would be nice to add another system board, spray wall, or set harder) - some dangerous positions on easier climbs enable a lot of injuries for... read more
I only used the bouldering area, so I cannot speak for the gym (though the gym looked nice). The staff is super kind and both bouldering areas were really fun. I am rather new to bouldering, I mainly do red or green routes, and these routes were challenging, yet fun and doable. Locker rooms and showers were spacious and clean. I can recommend this bouldering gym.
