6/30/2026: Updating my review again to say that I am still a patient here and will not be changing dentists! Dr. Bentz and Paula continue to provide comprehensive dental care for me, and the service hasn't dropped one bit. They truly care about their patients, their oral health and making the experience as comfortable as possible. I’ve been seeing Dr. Bentz and Paula for 22 years. Even though my office is no longer located in Boulder and I don’t live there, Dr, Bentz is the one doctor I’ve stayed with in Boulder. They provide great service, Very personable. At my recent visit, we discovered that Dr. Bentz did my fillings over 21 years ago! That’s craftsmanship.
Getting any sort of dental work is not always the most pleasurable experience, however Dr. Bentz is informative and has such a steady hand that I could not even tell I just got an injection of anesthetic into my gums till after he informed me it was over. His staff is also just as exceptional, and Rosie is an adorable dog to boot. Absolutely recommend his services.

From the moment you walk in, the office feels warm and welcoming. Rosie, the therapy Golden Retriever, greets patients and helps make the experience calming and comfortable. Dr. Bentz is the best dentist I’ve ever had — even the Novocaine shots are painless! I’m very sensitive to dental work, so I really appreciate that they offer nitrous oxide for cleanings and other procedures as well. My mom went in as a new patient to have a crown replaced.
