Not too shabby. Great steaks and rib. At the prices they charge, especially for drinks, they'd better be. Service was very friendly, I enjoyed the atmosphere. Good parking helps as well. Bring some serious cash, though, cause you're gonna need it. Will definately return.

Superb grass fed beef, local farm produce, fresh seafood – Based on its long standing success and excellent reputation, I expected The Boulder Cork to excel in delivering classic steakhouse cuisine in an upscale environment. The traditional decor and the attentive and knowledgeable staff certainly enhanced this impression. And I already knew about the award winning wine list. What I did not expect was the level of sophistication and thoughtfulness the kitchen put into its preparations. The chef's passion for fresh, natural i... read more

Good for food, bad for groups – I attended a party in their private backroom that had around 50 people. The room was great, separated from the rest of the diners and very accomodating. The service, however, is the reason I gave this review a 3 instead of a 4. They didn't bring everyone drinks and it took almost 40 minutes for our food to be served. (There were 4 preselected entrees to choose from). This is understandable as there was quite a large group. However they did not serve any appetizers like a salad or bread during ... read more

Fabulous service and food – My husband and I spent our twenty-third anniversary at the Boulder Cork this year. Upon entering the restaurant, the sweet hostess took our coats and hung them safely away in the closet, and took us to a fabulous table in the back of the restaurant next to the fireplace. I would suggest calling ahead for a reservation, as our server and the hostess were well aware that this was to be a very special evening for us, and literally made us feel like royalty. The prices of the steaks were on the high s... read more

Great Quiet Restaurant – It is out of the way, but this makes for easy parking. There are not a lot of stand alone businesses anymore which makes this a nice place to go to. The rustic atmosphere along with the quiet atmosphere makes it so you can spend some quality time with that special someone. The steaks are tender and cooked to perfection every time. The servers pay attention to every detail and are quick to accommodate.

TOO MANY GOOD RESTRAUNTS TO EVER GO BACK – my wife and i have resided in boulder for over 20 yrs. we tried the Cork for the only the second time since moving to boulder. the food was a hugh dissapointment. portions were very small and the food was pretty much tastless. service was adequate, although not terribly friendly. prices are off the charts for what you get. there are too many good restaurants in boulder to ever go to the Cork again.

Though the food is good the staff is unfriendly. – The food is good but the staff and atmosphere ruin the experience. They are overly pretensious for what The Cork is and inattentive. We keep "giving it another shot" because it is near our house, but are dissappointed each time.

Lively atmosphere and consistently good food keep this place hoppin' after more than 30 years. – In Short The open dining room and lounge feature minimalist Southwestern décor. Rustic pueblo stone walls and exposed wooden beams are lit by small lamps and skylights. After more than 30 years chef Jim Smailer has kept the menu up-to-date without being faddish and still buys many of his ingredients from local farmers. The popular steamed artichoke appetizer and the teriyaki sirloin have been on the menu since the restaurant open... read more
