I live in Easthampton and called Boulangers the day before thanksgiving. I was having my whole family over for the holiday and my toilet was broken and leaking. I just knew the holiday was a bust but called them for what excuse i would tell my family i arranged after turkey day. A young person overheard me and the secretary on the phone and came to my home WITHIN THE HOUR and made sure my holiday was saved. We experienced leaking from the ceiling in our family room on a Saturday afternoon. Jason called me back that day, provided empathy, discussed the issue. and explained how they needed to wait until Monday to fix it as parts wouldn’t be available on the weekend. A repair person showed up early Monday morning and worked for hours with a carpenter he enlisted to locate the source of the leak. My furnace shit the bed and within a very reasonable time Boulangers came and installed a new one. They did a great job, restructured old ductwork that was hanging, created a nice hanger set up for the chimney vent, new plenum because old furnace was and size they don’t make anymore and cleaned up everything around it. Was billed $125 for a 5 minute quote! I called and asked for a quote on a leak in my bathroom. They scheduled an appointment and asked me to send photos. The guy shows up and spends 5 minutes looking at our tub and then giving us a quote (which would involve them tearing open our wall, but they don't fix the wall afterwards). We said we couldn't have the wall left open at the time. A few days later I get a BILL FOR $125. They say they sent someone to do work and we turned it down.
