I had a box sushi roll and it was okay. I think I'll stick to the traditional sushi roll. The burger I asked for I could have made at home and they overcooked it. I asked for medium rare and got well done. It's also smaller than I thought which isn't a negative. Just wanted to point that out. The parking in the area makes me hesitant to give it another try.
I have been eating at Bottle Rocket since its opening in 2011. The sushi is consistently excellent. I recommend starting with the miso soup with shrimp and the tuna tataki. From this point the selection of sushi is up to you and will not be disappointed. Josh Calvin, the owner, is the answer. We forgot the question. Mike and Shelia, the bartenders, remember your name. Enjoy.
Love to find where the locals are when I travel. Found them & delicious sushi!! This little place has a great energy and warm spirit. Already looking forward to going back next year on our annual ATL Big South volleyball weekend.

The bartenders were awesome and the Fuji sushi thing was amazing!!!! We will be back when we visit again!
