While we have no experience with Michelangelo's prior to the overhaul, I can tell you that this is our absolute favorite OV restaurant now. The interior has a similar vibe to a Fox Concept restaurant, while the menu is modern Italian, yet keeps with traditional flavors. Our family devoured everything and both my kids agreed the white anchovy app is their favorite! I always liked Michelangelo's but this was our first visit since the reincarnation of the restaurant as a "happening" place. The noise level was such that we couldn't begin to have a conversation at a table for four unless we yelled. The menu is unimaginative. The service Saturday night was bad. In the bottom of my spaghetti bowl was a piece of waste from cutting up broccolini. 7 of us we were there last Friday (2-16) the ambiance, food and staff assisted in making this a wonderful evening. The remodeling and its balance of warmth, comfort and modern design left us wanting to come back again! Superior time had by all.
