My father is a huge fan of this restaurant, and since he's an amazing Italian cook, I was eager to have dinner here. Great atmosphere and phenomenal food. His ricotta gnocchi reminds me of my grandmother's homemade cavatelli. I was also really impressed by his Cabernet Eileen. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Napa.
Wonderful dinner--the polenta is amazing, served with carmelized mushrooms and rich veal stock. The raw fish of the day was a taste sensation, and beautiful. The risotto of the day was creamy and rich, and the duck breast was sublime.
Came here for lunch during a napa winery tour. I'm vegetarian and my friend is a gluten free vegetarian and they were very accommodating. Food was excellent. Wine was excellent. Lovely surroundings - would recommend.
Everything was delicious! The polenta under glass was exquisite. So creamy! The gnocchi was light - the perfect pillow tops! The ravioli with truffle was scrumptious. We ended the meal with warm pumpkin bread pudding. Service, ambiance, and of course, the food --- top notch!
This was our fourth meal at Bottega. Every time we come to Napa from Denver, we plan a dinner there, it is one of our favorites. This time we were disappointed. My husband dish, Frutti de Mare was good but the clams were strong tasting. Clams should never be strong tasting. Consequently, the broth was a bit off. I had the duck. My husband and I celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary at Botegga on Saturday. This is our special occasion go to spot. We enjoyed the calamari, short ribs, bolongese and for dessert donuts. The dinner and service was amazing! We absolutely loved it! Our first dinning experience at Botegga 5 years ago, Chef Chiarello visited our table to wish us a Happy Anniversary and took pictures with us! Check, check off my bucket list!
Best lunch experience ever... wait staff very professional....loved it
We come here every year and we are never disappointed. Food was excellent!
