Terrible. I’ve been waiting well over 8 months for my appointment that was a referral from my GP. Drove all the way from Campbell river to find a note on the door that said “closed due to staff illness”. No email. No phone call. Nothing. Completely unprofessional. Very disappointed
I was scheduled weeks in advance, by my GP, for Dr. Hancock. When I arrived on the appointed time, after a 3.5 hour round trip to the office, I was greeted with a ‘closed notice- “due to Illness”- on the office door that was locked. There was no answer to my immediate phone call but only transferred me to a recorded statement that the call messages was “full”.
Excellent service! And very reasonably priced, unlike the glamour spa type places. Dr. Hancock saw me within a week of my call and did not try to upsell me. He gave me exactly what I asked for and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I’m very happy with how his work turned out. Super friendly staff and Dr. I would refer this business to my friends.
I had an appointment, showed up, the receptionist mumbled oh did I not call you.. then I said I had an appointment. She said sorry the Doctor isn't in today, I called everyone else except for you. Not super apologetic, or professional. The fee is $80 for late cancel fee but it seems my time isn't valuable at all. I will not be trying again and go elsewhere, based off this and other reviews.
Strongly advise against visiting this clinic. The disorganization is evident – the place appears far from meeting basic health standards for a surgical environment. The doctor's excuse of moving a year ago and lacking time to organize the clinic is not reassuring. Safety and cleanliness should never be compromised in a medical setting. It seems like the doctor avoids performing procedures if they're covered by MSP, which is concerning. Not a great experience overall.
