Had a root canal yesterday. Exceptional service; nominal pain-related after effects. Recommend highly.
I went to Dr. Andrew for the root canal. But they don't let you know you are out of network of my insurance until you have done you visit. Then you will see the huge payment as out of network insurance. So I was changed almost $100 and my insurance paid $150 for just the estimate of the treatment. Then if I do the root canal with them, I will pay myself $800 with insurance paying $1000. Then they told me that I need to pay so high because they are out of my insurance network. Why don't you tell me earlier? So I have to walk ... read more

Dr Romero's Office Manager, Yolanda was extremely rude. She made it difficult to have a discussion and was hostile in her tone and affect. Dr. Romero sits behind you as he discusses procedures. He needs to make more of an effort to provide face to face discussion - even with a mask this is possible ie. patient not having to stretch neck backwards. I don't think I would return. I didn't feel respected or adequately informed of the dental plan of care.
I was very nervous about having another root canal as I had a very bad experience 30 years ago. But once I sat in Dr Romero's chair and he explained every step I felt confident in him and his assistant and their expertise. I was so surprised that there was absolutely no pain...and how fast the procedure was. I have to laugh at myself now for being so afraid when there was nothing to be afraid of!
Best experience ever!!! Painless and professional. I've been to other Endodontists and Dr. Romero is by far the best! If I ever need another root canal I'll only go to Dr. Romero.

In fact, I have a section of my mouth that all previous endodontics providers were unable to get me numb, he took the extra care to make sure I was comfortable and numb. This was an incredible experience and I will be returning for all of my future needs. Do yourself a favor if you are looking for top notch care you found it!
