First visit, turning into another with my date – I love mexican food, and was so impressed with everything. The drinks were strong, and even with eating I left with a little buzz. The aura of the place is amazing, and romantic a little if you get the right table. Look up at ceiling and at walls – As the title suggests, the walls and the ceilings fill you with a curious feeling as you walk into the restaurant. There are Aztec looking paintings as well as sculptures. They add an interesting twist to the restaurant's ambience. best mexican in Milwaukee – My friends and I go to Botanas almost every weekend. The staff is fabulous, especially the owner, who comes to our table each visit. The food comes so fast that we always order our delicious margaritas much earlier than our food, so we have ample time to enjoy them. Food is cheap, and great.

Try Botana's it worth the trip!! – My family visits Botana's frequently becuase it is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Milwaukee. The food, service and value is second to none. We love Botana's!!
So much food for your buck! – The atmosphere may not appeal to all, but I've never received so much food, so promptly, and at such a fair price. Also, the enchilada soup is to die for.
Patio restored!! – Bien hecho Jaime!! You've listened and granted your patrons' recommendations. The outdoor patio has been restored to its former glory. Now we can enjoy the GREAT food, EXCELLENT service and SUPERB ambience with a touch of sunshine!! But for those who haven't been yet, you've got to try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
WHY WHY WHY????? – Jamie what did you do to your patio? We used to love sitting on your patio enjoying the weather. Now you put a "TENT" over all but a few tables!! You have wonderful food and drinks but I will be looking for a new open air patio to enjoy the few nice days of our summer. Does anybody have a sugestion?
