Dr. Mary Lee Fornes is our vet forever with her amazing, friendly staff. I wouldn't take my boys (Cairn Terriers) anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Fornes.
To the lady whose dog died: Let me ask you a question. When a person has an emergency, what do they do? They call 911, or go to an emergency room...correct? That's the first thing that they tell you to do, when you call the office. CALL 911 if it's an emergency. That's what YOU should have done. Don't be so quick to blame Boston Valley. Boston Valley Animal Hospital is everything you want in a vet: knowledgeable, compassionate and friendly. The staff is great and so is the vet. There is no bait and switch like someone else commented. Never in 15 years has that happened. And, to another comment, they give you the tools for YOU to make your own common sense decision for your pet’s best interest. Beware of Boston Valley Animal Hospital. The office quotes a price for services and when you get there with your pet for your appt., They want to gauge the price 4x more than what they quoted you. Very misleading and just down right wrong!! When pet owners only want what's best for their pet, this business takes advantage of the situation. They advertise if you have a pet in need, they will help. Unfortunately, it comes with a very big price tag. Honesty is hard to come by these days!!

I can see that you had planned to utilize our 'No Frills' low cost spay and neuter program for cats, which is a highly used service offered through our hospital. If I could do poorer than poor I would...called a week ago because my dog would not eat or drink...I guess that was not an EMERGENCY...she gave me an appointment a WEEK later...a human could not survive without water that long, let alone a 45lb. dog... my dog died

As a pet owner, it up to you to decide whether to bring the pet to a doctor or not. Emergency services are available 24 /7 in our area. I'm sure you were told that, yet you chose NOT to take your pet to the emergency room. Personal responsibility cannot be ignored in this situation....
The staff here is amazing. They go out of their way to make both your pet and you comfortable. The office is also very nice and relaxing, plus spacious. Very happy I decided to give them a try a year ago, on a recommendation from the kennel I use.
