I can't recommend the Boston PEERS program enough to any prospective family searching for this type of group. Our 4 year old was struggling being social at school and we didn't know where to turn for help. After finding PEERS through a google search (hence my review here for any family doing sometime similar) I can wholeheartedly say Dr. Jenny and her team are an absolute gift to neurodivergent (AND neurotypical folks who could benefit from social skills) kids and their families. Our experience has been with the preschool co... read more

This program is amazing! My kids have attended many different social skills programs/camps/groups over the years, and Boston PEERS is by far the best, most effective, most informative, and most practical program out of all of them. I think the main differences between Boston PEERS and the other programs, is that Boston PEERS 1) assigns relevant and useful homework that supports what the students have learned in class, and that is very practical from a life perspective (e.g. make a phone call to a friend), 2) Provides hands o... read more

Really wonderful program! PEERS should be taught in schools. My 22 year old son was initially *very* reluctant to do this. The 14 week program was well run. My son enjoyed the counselors who would work them every week and he also appreciated and ended up really caring for the other participants. Dr. Chu was able to create a safe space to learn these my... read more

This class was such a gift for our teen. The environment was relaxed, fun and supportive. The instructors truly understand teens who struggle socially and meet them where they are, no pressure just steady encouragement. The lessons are practical, relatable and relevant to what teens encounter in their daily lives. I highly recommend for any parent looking for a supportive, thoughtful and genuinely effective social skills class for their teen.
