Messed up big time. I'm still paying for it a year later.
My boyfriend’s car was hit THREE days ago by one of Bort Insurance policy holders, she was at fault. He works and made contact with a person in the office the morning after while he was at work and asked for any further communication take place after 3pm when he gets out of work. Someone else called back at 10am and left a voicemail stating he can call her back but not to leave more than one voicemail as it would delay the claim? Listening to voicemails delays the claim? Truly awful. Addled agent couldn't get info, including my name right. Paid for policy in full, yet received bill for more money after fact. Canceled policy. They sent refund check in wrong name(s) making check an uncashable piece of refrigerator art. Particularly skilled in not making any effort to remedy the fact I paid for a policy that Erie Ins.itself said they would not honor cuz basic info wrong. Well done.
The owners are fantastic people. I have been with them for years. I highly recommend them!
