I’ve been going to Borinquen Medical Center’s mental health unit for a while, and they supposedly accept walk-ins. In the past, I’ve done the walk-in process—arriving early, signing in, and waiting to see if there are any no-shows. But this time was different. When I arrived, the waiting area was nearly empty, with only one other person sitting there. I see bad reviews and wonder if we're going to the same place. I've always been treated well and with respect. Everyone has been professional. I've been receiving care from this team for 10+ years. I intend to keep doing so.
