Best experience ever. The owner and his brother Cesar are amazing. The food was real good the service fast. And the ambient was a good one. I loved it and will be a come back place every time i come back to Atlanta.
This was my first time here, but the friends I went with have been going since they were kids.I wasn't crazy hungry so I shared an order of shrimp tacos and they were AWESOME. A decent amount of shrimp with sides of sour cream, some kind of yummy slaw, rice and pico. Love this place, especially the servers. Eric is the best! It is a great place to go after a game if you want to wait out the traffic.
Our party of 6 came in for an early dinner before heading to the Braves game. After traveling from Florida, we were craving tacos, so we checked out Yelp and decided to give the place a try. We had great service from Cesar, who quickly brought chips and salsa to our table, followed by a pitcher of margaritas. Everyone enjoyed the food, though the carnitas were just a tad bland. The food was very good overall, but the service was great, so we felt the 4th star was warranted.
My husband and I used to go to this place a lot years ago. When we moved to a different county and returned it just didn't seem the same. Last month my sister and I were in the area and I'm glad we stopped. Their enchiladas were just as good as I originally remember them being before! My sister enjoyed her tacos and burrito. My husband and I first visited the border over a year ago, when we were craving somewhere with chips & salsa.. and we've gone back almost every two weeks! My favourite is the enchiladas verdes, while my hubs gets enchiladas supremas. Often a little different each week, but always great. We love that we're greeted like family- and the staff is ALWAYS friendly and smiling.
Had Pappasito's grill and tres leches cake. The mixed grill was a skewer of shrimp, beef and peppers, plus grilled chicken on a bed of grilled onions and served w/ chimichurri sauce, butter and rice and beans. The chicken and beef were tender, juicy and well charred. The shrimp was also grilled perfect, and the accompanying sauces just added the flavor parade. This is definitely worth ordering again.The tres leches cake was a great sponge for the sweet milk sauce and disappeared fairly quick.
