The smoked prime rib was awesome.
Chris is by far a unique soul. It was because of his hospitality that we ended up deciding to move from WI to AZ. He made us feel at home the moment we walked in the door. It’s been 5 months since we’ve been here and he recognized us as soon as we walked in. Food is life changing. Atmosphere is stellar. We even bought the clothing to represent so people ask about the place. For sure a top of the list for us!!!! Worth EVERY penny! Keep it up...and don’t ever let Chris leave!
Awesome experience at the Bootlegger. The food was delish!!! Chris, our bartender, is one of a kind .. thoroughly enjoyed his company during our visit 😃. Will be back when I’m back in town without a doubt!!!

The dumplings and beet salad were unique and delicious but service was not very good (had to wait a while to be greeted and seated and our server had her abdomen exposed and she was resting plates on her bare skin) and the building was filthy (floors were sticky and the bathroom was gross). We order the bbq plater and the brisket was completely inedible... nothing but chewy fat. No need to ever go back.
