My new, love this place right here! They made us so comfortable and the food was great (Newburgh-to die for) and our waitress Mariah!! I wanted her to sit and join us! ❤️❤️ Thank you all for going all out for us!
I was not impressed - items on the menu are no longer available, my food came out cool and even sending it back was less than desirable.
The server was wonderful. Sweet and accommodating. The food was horrible. The chowder was sandy and flavorless, the Brussel sprouts were burnt, the scallop BLT consisted of 4 burnt scallops and one flavorless piece of bacon. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is great, too bad the food is overpriced, underspiced, and burnt.
We were given a drink and then left sitting there for just about an hour before someone came back over to us.
I'm giving it a 2 because, our first lunch on Friday was AMAZING in every single way! Loved it, loved the service, the food, the environment. My son & I had, just an amazing time! I'd give it a 5, well until Saturday when we returned for lunch with my husband to re-experience the loveliness. The very good -sized portions we'd had on Friday were literally half the size on Saturday for the SAME PRICE. I mentioned this to the waiter who took $5 off, but that's kinda not the point. Enjoyed a Fish Sandwich at Boones yesterday. Very tasty. Service, however, was quite slow and they still haven't figured out the room smoke yet. You leave the restaurant with your eyes burning from wood smoke. Bring your wallet. Pretty expensive here.
We went in on a Saturday night and requested outdoor seating. We were told 30 minutes, which I understand is an estimate. It was very busy in the Old Port. We chose to go to the bar and have a drink. We sat for about 8 minutes to get service, there were only 3 other people at the bar. After 40 minutes we went to the hostess station. They said, "oh your name was removed". Really? Our waiter was good and we enjoyed our food.
