Nice job rutting up the lawn today REMC! The accident damage I have to deal with is bad enough. Your guy unnecessarily went from the torn up access drive, crossed the undamaged yard, rutting it up to join the driveway. That's just pure disrespect. Thanks a lot! Totally unnecessary, uncalled for and unprofessional! I expect better.
This is the worst scam of a business I’ve ever come across. They are a monopoly here so they are our literal only choice. They have hung up on me multiple times. They forced us to pay nearly $700 down on a deposit which we will probably never see because this company is just THE WORST! I hope you can avoid ever using this straight up Satanic company. I would give them less then 1 star if I could.
RecommendedCudos Boone County REMC! I reported power outage online. Received immediate call back. A few minutes later, an REMC truck arrived, followed by another truck. Guy climbs the pole and a couple minutes later the power was back on. I'm not sure what the problem was, but I heard one guy say it looked like the original transformer from 1922😆. Awesome service!
Stop fleecing customers in the guise of 'maintaining equipment'. Start printing more financial information about how much money you make and where it all goes into. Who are in the leadership? How much money do they make per year in salary and other forms of compensation? How much money is spent in polishing Boone REMC's reputation via scrubbing out bad reviews and other internet information? The monthly bill is reallly high( crazyy high). I had duke energy before where i lived. I am definitly going to change to gas by next month.

REMC came out right away to remove a big limb that fell off a tree onto an electrical wire on Sunday August 18 eve. Great service. Thank you for our safety concerns.
Boone REMC does their best to take care of their customer-owners. They notify us when there are planned outages. When storms or wrecks knock out the power unexpectedly, they respond quickly. They use their website to help us keep track of when to expect the power to be back up. Another thing I really love is the REMC's Round Up program. They round up our bills to the nearest dollar.
