I took a discontinued stain in to have the experts help me find the current version of the product. A college student assured me he knew what I needed. I reaffirmed that I wasn’t an expert and mentioned several times it was going to be applied to a deck. He sold me log and siding stain, instead of deck. The product is a clear coat, it’s doesn’t penetrate but instead creates a film. Completely different dry times. The rain came and ruined the stain.
