We have been coming to the Boondocks for the last 9+ years and love it! We ate here three times this past week!They have great seafood but the blackened fish sandwich is the best in Daytona! Service is also wonderful! Chuck remembers us and speaks to us every year.
It was raining cats and ducks but it was dry even though the building looked like a make shift shed on the river. You could hear the rain and through the plastic windows, you were right on the water next to boats, great views. It felt homey and the food was delicious and good size portions. I had the special, fried flounder and I got 3 good size pieces with fries and homemade slaw - all for $8.99. My friend said her pulled pork sandwich was so big and tasty. Best seafood my family had on vacation. We tried several different places. Spicy Steamed shrimp our favorite!
We found this place last fall & it is one of our 'go to ' spots when we are in town . My 4 year old grandson LOVES feeding the catfish & we adults LOVE the seafood !
