I went today and the food was great!!! I really enjoyed the turkey barbecue and slaw .
This place has great food!! Especially the Chicken pastry, cornbread and TeA!!

I ate there about a week ago for lunch, I purchased a combination plate with bbq chicken and the world famous turkey bbq with cold slaw and cabbage. The price was around 10 $ with a fountain drink. The portion size was nice. The chicken was fair, the turkey bbq was the dryest bbq I have ever had, it had little to no flavor,, I was highly disappointed,, the cabbage was fairly good,, and the cold slaw was awful,, it did not taste fresh at all,, it litterly tasted like raw cabbage, and the corn bread was mediocre. Had a wonderful lunch at Boogie's today. The love and time is not only given to the customers but also the food. I am BIG fan of turkey BBQ and this is the best I have ever had (sorry to my husband he tries). I ordered the small combo - more than enough food. With BBQ chicken, BBQ Turkey, and two (2) sides. The slaw is a wonderful accent to both proteins and the boiled potatoes were cooked perfectly - not too mushy.
