I just had first procedure with Dr bonsi. Root canal.... and to be perfectly honest it wasn't terrible... lol. I found Dr bonsi very caring about feeling any pain.. I was out of the chair with a temporary tooth in an hour..he did the root canal and installed the post.. the only criticism I have is that it will be March before I can have my permanent crown . Dr. Bonsi has been my dentist for about 5 years. Both he and his staff are professionals. I've been satisfied with my regular cleanings and any dental procedure that was needed.
I have been a patient of Dr. Bonsi since the 1990's. He was then a young dashing dentist, trained in the UK and I was much younger too! He took over the practice from Dr. Akil who gave me my first implant on a front tooth which was damaged during basketball in High-school. Dr. Bonsi assisted since it was a fairly new procedure in Oneonta. I, my husband and daughter have been patients ever since. We still have our teeth and are pain-free. I had a bad experience with Dr Bonsi he hit a nerve that effected my eye for several days they showed no concern about what happened to me will not recommend or ever go there again.
Dr. Bonsai is a excell not dentist, he knows hid profession very well. I recommend him highly.
He is a very sweet and caring dentist. I am terrified of going to the dentist office ever since I was a kid but I'm truly grateful that I found him.
i have been going to dr.Bonsi for years and always have a good experience. the staff seems to be light spirt and seem to have fun. the cleanings i have had were better than i have had in the past, and i would definatly recommend this office to a friend.
He order many unnecessary fillings. He prescribed a short-term mouthwash and had me use it long-term which caused staining on my teeth. This was never cleaned off by Dr. Bonsi. My new dentist easily polished it off. The hygienists waited until he left the area to tell me not to listen to his recommendations and to use an OTC mouthwash instead. They do not trust his skills. Office sent me a bill 1.5 years after my insurance and I had made payments for the service. Office smells like mildew.
I had a very bad experience. I believe Dr. Bonsi ordered unnessary treatment for his own profit and one that was physically very uncomfortable. I don't believe he should be allowed to practice dentistry.
