This review is long overdue from a family that has called the Bonnie Brae Apartments home for many years. We have lived all over the country, and Bonnie Brae is where we have stayed the longest. The complex sits quietly at the end of a cul-de-sac, just steps from Evelyn M. Schiffler Memorial Park. It feels tucked away in the best way. Nice place, however one of my complaints that I’m just unable to get over is how many residents have broken down cars and leave them on the visitors parking spots and NEVER move them, leaving actual visitors to park on the street or elsewhere if the street is full due to events in the park across. It was okay the first few times but now it’s irritating (because you’d be lucky to just find a SINGLE spot open) , and nothings being done about said cars in the visitors spots . I loved living here and am so sad to be moving out! Bonnie Brae Apartments are a well-maintained, quiet, family-friendly, lovely place to live, and the property manager Gene is one of the main reasons for that. He is an excellent manager who truly cares about the tenants and goes above and beyond to ensure everything is taken care of efficiently and with great care. This is an amazing place to live! The property manager Gene is so kind and helpful and truly is the reason so many people have lived here so long. The location is great too, within walking distance of the downtown area and across the street from a park. I highly recommend if you are looking for nice quiet housing with great management :)
