Food and service was great . I had chili relleno and my husband had elk tenderloin . We ate in the bar .... All was amazing . The fried quail appetizer was fabulous and wine prices were good . Can not believe we have not been there in years . I love Fort Worth .
The food and wine selection was excellent! Our waiter, Dan was exceptional & very friendly! We will definitely be back!
Great food but stay away from the booths. I spoke to the hostess and the waiter about it and they both knew the booth was in horrendous shape. Stick with the chairs, you'll enjoy your meal much better without the threat of a spring coming up your rear. Sorry Jon. Love your food, not your booths.
The food was outstanding and the service was even better!
We had a special wine dinner at Bonnell's last night. As usual the Oyster Texafeller were outstanding and the duck was perfection. We washed everything down with California sparkling wine, pinot noir and capped the evening off with a 1994 Port and the Chocolate Amaretto cake. Dan and Chef Bonnell took great care of us. We will all be back!
Great place for those special occasions! Great service and excellent food. We love this place...bartenders always great.
Awesome! Everything was fabulous and the level of detail and excellence was amazing! You can't go wrong with any option they are all wonderful!
We went to celebrate a family birthday and had an awesome dinner! Loved the elk mini tacos and shrimp and grits appetizers! Then several tried the pear salad with goat cheese, excellent!! I had the fish special, a snapper but I liked the pecan-crusted redfish even more:) But the very best was the buffalo tenderloin. It was melt in your mouth delicious!!! We did try the creme brûlée and it was yummy as well. I have no idea why we go downtown when this is so much closer and convenient.
Oysters Texasfeller were excellent, delicious. We then had the pumpkin soup, which is a seasonal item. It was delicious. We shared a pepper crusted buffalo filet and a pecan encrusted grouper as entrees. Holy goodness, every single item and side dish, plus the bread was just so good and flavored with excellence. I cannot tell you how delicious all this food was. We shared a Caramelized banana sundae for dessert, very good. Our server was great, efficient, friendly. Go here.
