To add to my previous review. In addition to the assistant taking an additional 4th unnecessary x ray of my 3 yr old my pain free mallet toe which all x rays appear to be of her own doing w/o consulting Dr. Bonini. the medical diagnosis report of my visit did not relate to me and I filed a complaint with the Virginia Department of Health Professions, Enforcement Division 9960 Mayland Drive, Suite 300, Henrico, VA 23233
On my visit 8/9/2024 at his Chantilly Office * (moving to Sterling on 8/19) if I had just asked to see the Doctor first he would have told me as he did afterwards when he saw the actual toe, to live with my mallet toe since it was pain free and because surgery is with complications. Instead you are first handled by the tech who takes costly x-rays before the doctor sees you. I would have avoided all that x-ray radiation on 4 exposures. She took 4 and not 3 as mentioned when I researched this. I do not know the level, but no... read more

I am very upset because February 15, 2013 he botched a surgery on my foot for a simple hammertoe and bunion repair which was confirmed by Family Foot and Ankle in Fairfax, VA. Later he recanted, and now my foot is maimed for life. I also had to have 2 surgeries to correct his mistake, My foot will never be the same.
Does this provider offer flexible appointment times? Yes Did you feel that your waiting time was acceptable? Absolutely Did this provider's staff seem to respect him/her? Mostly yes Did you leave the office feeling satisfied with your visit? Yes Would you recommend this podiatrist to others? I Already Have
Dr Bonini is fabulously efficient and personalable.... his record keeping staff -- not so much. They lost track of several of my payments and I had to pay to keep from being report to collection. Because he's a great provider I'm returning, but will be sure to mention the staff short-comings
