My mother is currently going through three different surgeries. This is only the first of three. She had to have a transpedicular approach and the neurosurgeon was very nice and professional and so were most of the staff/ nurses. Unfortunately the bad outweighs the good in this scenario. My issue is with the way that she has been treated for the past day. Doctors and nurses are rude keep you waiting and act like they don’t want to assist you . I don’t recommend anyone .
Was referred here in the spring of 2024, and in over a year no one has actually treated me for anything. The rheumatologist Dr. Giles won't help if there isn't something super obvious in your labs, and even then she'll refer you out elsewhere. APRN Kristina Perez refused to help because I "wasn't the worst case she's seen." Surgeon Nissen won't help you if you're T1d, says he's had problems treating diabetic patients before so now he refuses even basic care, though he's not going off science, just vibes.
