I would come all the time, but this last visit sucked. It wasn't busy at all , but yet it took our waitress a long time to come around to ask if we wanted to order after getting our drinks. Then it took over an hour to get our food. Every time I would ask about our food a new excuse was given. We were not asked for refills wjile we waited. The place was clean and the staff very friendly. No complaints about the service at all. The food was kinda meh. The macaroni and cheese was good. The ham was ok. The brisket was kinda dry and not very warm at all. It wasn't cold like sitting in a fridge but more like it had been on a counter since lunch. They use some sort of seasoned salt to flavor the french fries which turns out ok. That same seasoning isn't vey good in the okra batter. It wasn't terrible, I just have no desire to go back.

We visited this place for the first time and we were amazed at how great the food was. We tried a little bit of everything because of how good it was. I will definitely be coming back. Loved it!

I have been coming here since 2002 and I will say that the atmosphere has gone down dramatically these past few years. I use to go there like a religion every Friday night and now find myself converting to Twin Peaks. Sorry but it's nice to drink a beer and have something pretty to look at.

Actually, the food is average, but have always gotten great service, and mgmt is good about saving tables for football games.
