The nurses here seemed considerate, caring, and welcoming. The facility is very clean and easy to find. Disabled parking spaces were almost entirely used up but there was a pretty quick turnover. Memorial Regional is also extremely convenient to 295. Although, Dr. Carl Weiss did not feel it was appropriate to use lidocane (or any other local anesthetic) before manual debridement of my lower extremity wound because I have a spinal cord injury and, thus, in his words, it was not necessary since I had no sensation. They are the best! I was a patient with VCU wound for 5 years and they were unable to heal my trauma wounds from spinal surgeries. Within my first month of going to bon secour wound clinic at memorial regional progress was made. I am near my 5th month and more than 75 percent healed and still healing at a good pace. I thank God for the staff and Dr Weiss.
My Nurse Practitioner made an appointment for me for a specific procedure to be done. When I got there the Doctor said that procedure needed to be done and referred me elsewhere. If they don't do the procedure there, why did they make (and charge for) the appointment? They could have referred me when making the appointment instead they saw me to make a buck.
