Shady Billing Practices! Beware! This facility, despite being within my insurance plan's network, somehow sent my labs to a Bon Secours lab that was out of network. Leaving me with a $140 bill for an otherwise routine test that should have been covered. Insurance refused to cover it because the lab listed as being out of state due to their address. Felt completely dismiss didn’t even feel the area I had pain in. Ended up going to the ER with confirmed kidney infection. Thanks for nothing
I am on Medicaid why are you charging me? Virginia Medicaid eliminated member copays in 2022. I wasn’t even aware at the time and paid the fee until I was told I shouldn’t be paying at all by a family friend. Upon researching they’re correct….so why are you charging me when you say you accept Medicaid? When I called before my going in and confirmed that you do indeed accept it but you charge me? Is that not illegal?
The entire experience was wonderful. Everyone was friendly, professional and helpful. They treated me promptly and with respect, courtesy and care. I was there for a nasal infection issue and they helped me to resolve that and they also took the initiative to clean ear buildup that I did not know needed attention. Thank you!! A++++
