Do not go to the interal medicine office in Ashland Va. The doctor told my husband this morning that she was busy and didn't have time for him. When we first had a visit at the office I asked if she would be able to see my husband every 30 days because he has numerous issues. Now she says that she doesn't have any magic pills in her pocket. All we wanted was a good primary care doctor not one that is too busy for us. Needless to say I was shocked at the way that she behaved.
Great service and people.
Dr J Hyde is the best. He is very knowledgable and communicates well with patients. I trust him totally. We feel he cares about my condition. We drive 90 minutes to see Dr Hyde. That is not a sacrifice to be seen by the best when your life is at stake.
Privacy none. the Focus room not good everyone can hear your conversation pertaining to why you are there. Also a narcotic was given with no food patient became really ill because of it spoke to head nurse never appologized acted like it was no big deal very patronising. Im never going back there awful experience
I had the best experience with St Mary’s ! I spent just about two months in the women’s specialty unit before birthing my twin boys 💙 and now I visit all of the time to see my babies inside of the neonatal intensive care unit 💙 I would totally recommend St Mary’s .
I was there for a work-related injury, when I was discharged they gave me a work note with 1 day off; when the Safety Manager of the company I work for saw the note he send a tex message to a doctor and then the doctor came out with another work note with no day off, “Companies worth more then patients” By the way I never saw that doctor.
RecommendedI will definitely recommend this hospital. This hospital has the most caring nurses and experienced physicians. The facility is very clean.
They consider "vertical flow" worthy of a $1440 charge which equates to 5 minutes behind the ER doors in a waiting chair answering questions you just responded to in triage. AND they provide discharge instructions in front of other people in the WAITING ROOM LOBBY with no regard for privacy. They admit you to the ER but you arent actually treated in the ER and say there was no room? On a week day late morning that was not the case. I did not have a nurse, given the option to lay down, or provided reasonable privacy.
Very dishonest staff members. I was lied to about a medication mix up. Almost died. Scary place. They should shut down St. Marys hospital.
