Sent a referral over a week ago and was never called to schedule an appointment so I called a week later to follow up. This office is playing games however claiming that a diagnosis for thyroid was sent over when I verified with both my primary care physician office and OBGYN that it was sent over for PCOS. I was told that I do not meet the "criteria" to be seen at their office. Can you imagine being turned away like that? I have never heard of such a thing in my life. Dr. Douglas Johnson is a unique endocrinologists. He asks salient questions to illicit the info needed to make informed decisions. He likes his tried and true methods but is gracious about listening to your concerns. He’s great at reaching compromises. I appreciate that he shares information freely. You will definitely leave his office more knowledgeable than when you arrived.
