I was sold the moment I walked in and saw one of the cooks impaling marinated chicken pieces on a skewer and putting it into the Tandoor. None of the MKE restaurants have a tandoor so that makes this place the best Indian eatery north of Schaumburg. We ordered Mango martini, Chicken tikka (appetizer), Lamb masala and chicken karahi. By no means By no means am I a traditional Indian food expert. However, the food HERE seems to be fairly authentic. I thought all the food I ate was wonderful. It's a great spot to grab a quick lunch or dinner. They do serve alcohol ( Martini Menu and others) The costumer service was so-so. I wasn't impressed nor was I disappointed. So, whether you're into Indian food or just looking to try something new I recommend the old Mayura..

Both food and ambience are good. The best Indian food here. Actually the best Indian I have ever tasted anywhere. I come as often as I can.
