In my opinion the quality of the burger has decreased since the last time I ate there. Service was fair. Beer was cold. Parking is not bad.

My family and I have been going to the Boll Weevil on Clairemonnt Mesa blvd fo over 25 years. We began to take our sons there when they were infants. My eldest son just turned 24 years old yesterday and he has celebrated every one of his birthdays there, by choice. Things have changed, people have changed & the decor has changed but we have loved going back year after year. Thanks to the owner & staff we always have a great time . I haven't been in years. There's definitely a reason we kept going for as long as I can remember. Those burgers are the best! We went with a group of 20 people and the server took on my family like a pro. With humor and patience.
I've always been a HUGE fan of Boll Weevils and was sorry so many had closed (National City & San Marcos CA). On this visit, had my usual Super Cheese Burger & still the best burger around, bar none!! Great burger joint menu & our group of 8 had excellent service!

Not a good experience not a good selection of beer, chicken was flavorless and dry the bun is suppose to be toasted but was soggy, very dim lighting and depressing atmosphere
