Dr. Bolding fixed my right jaw joint when no one else could. I tried everything, laser treatments, massage therapy, chiropractors, mouth splints, pain medications and acupuncture. I could not even open my mouth or chew food. I lost 50 pounds. I was ready to die. I feel that Dr. Bolding saved my life. Thank you Dr. Bolding
my appearance and life are ruined. I will need to get the entire double jaw surgery done over again for functional and aesthetic reasons. My sleep apnea got worse. My tmj and bite is still unstable and what's more is that I look inhuman, like a monkey or dog. I found another person who had a similar life ruining experience at predicent. get other consults before going here, make sure they show you your plan before operating. very rushed and careless surgery and now my life is ruined.
I called & said I needed a new mouthguard but was not interested in surgery. I was told “Dr. Bolding makes mouth guards for TMJ and only does surgery if it’s absolutely necessary”. His $350 fee included a CT Scan and an interaoral mouth scan and pictures. I was told that if he thought I needed surgery he would have my doctor send me for an MRI. Dr. Bolding is a life-changing surgeon. I had so many issues with my jaw joints and airway it was hard to keep track of them all. My airway went down to the size of a coffee stir stick and I was on a CPAP machine my entire adult life. Dr. Bolding not only took care of my TMJ issues, but he gave me a normal size airway. I no longer need a CPAP machine! Dr. Bolding and his team truly made the impossible...possible. I am beyond grateful for all the great care they took of me and the life-changing procedure they did! I spent years telling my dentist about my jaw pain, the clicking and popping, my migraines, and he dismissed it. I went to a colleague at St. Joseph's in the OMFS department and they did a CT scan to find out I had bilateral ligament tears in my jaw. Basically the equivalent of tearing your ACL but in your jaw. Dr. Scott Bolding changed my life. I was dealing with significant TMJ issues as well as a class III malocclusion, giving me chronic pain and difficulty functioning in daily life. I have a major issue regarding getting a resolution to my paying over $,16,000.00+ only to have 4 upper implants fail, 3 falling out on their own. The removable bridge I had before the implants fell out never fit properly, and now the remade bridge following their failure also never fit. I believe the reason for this is that they don't use impressions, but instead measure mouth digitally. It was so loose. About twenty four years ago I went to a young recently graduated dentist in Fayetteville Arkansas. She was very nice knowledgeable and caring. She did some work on my teeth and gave me some options for the other dental work I needed. One option was considering two implants.
