The pastries are wonderful and the atmosphere is very welcoming. It's a nice place to have a coffee and read a book.
I was astounded to find this artistic jewel of a coffeeshop! Functioning as a coffeehouse and bookstore, this place features live readings from local writers, art, and books, all tucked away on a corner of this nice Portland neighborhood. It honestly felt like I'd been transported back to 1920s Paris with the feeling of the place. What the owner is doing here is fantastic, bringing people together to celebrate books, being human, and art. Great and cozy atmosphere. The breakfast sandwich was very good.
This charming little corner bookstore and cafe packs a mean punch in an unassuming space. It has bright windows, art, and books, books, books. I've never been served a disappointing latte, and as an author and reader I've been to several events! High quality, lots of topics, great space for readers and writers with mindful selection of a variety of books.
