I showed up for my appointment, waited in office to be called, they didn’t check my insurance so they said I had to pay out of pocket- after refusing to pay out of pocket I said let’s reschedule after you’ve reached out to my insurance- then I get a $80 bill. It’s their job to check prior authorization before appointments . They don’t do their job.. so I have to pay regardless
My experience today was the kind that unfortunately reinforces why so many doctor appts are a waste of time and money. Dr. Sarah Ferrer-Bruker was dismissive throughout the entire visit and rude at points. I came in because I have an infected cyst in my thigh that has been there since October and keeps getting worse/more painful. As I'm writing this I can feel it throbbing, the location makes it constantly irritating and very hard to ignore. Both times I've seen her, Dr. F.B. was incredibley thorough and took the time to listen to each of my concerns. Her staff is equally competent and kind. The office is clean and modern, and in a very convenient location.
I would give zero stars if possible. Dr.Ferrer was incredibly dismissive when I went in with an active (yet controlled) impetigo infection on my face after two previous rounds of antibiotics from an urgent care center failed. She looked at my skin for all of a few seconds and said I didn't have staph. However I made her do a swab for me anyway.
