I had eaten here once before - about a year ago - and had a much better experience. This time was a Monday night. Service was pretty slow. They were packed (as usual). Pork ribeye was really good. Onion rings-which we paid $1.50 upcharge for-seemed to be out of a freezer bag and I only got 4 of them (and one was super tiny.) Husband had Philly steak, which was good, but cheese fries ($1.50 upcharge again) seemed to have been sitting under a heat light for awhile-they were kinda one big glob. RecommendedWonderful food, reasonably priced, great atmosphere. My husband and I were celebrating our first anniversary, staying at a cabin in Canton, when we came across Bogart’s when searching for a good place to eat online. Tavern is a little hidden gem for those looking for somewhere to eat outside of the hustle and bustle of typical Asheville. We would definitely go back!
