Edit: updated from two to four stars based on the prompt response by management. Will definitely be back! Original review remains below. ******** Original review ****** Everything was far too salty! However, the ambience is excellent, and the quality of ingredients is solid. We had the oysters, the hamachi crudo, the burger with boef fat fries, and the New York strip with bearnaise sauce and peas. The burger and steak were cooked to perfection, but so, so salty! We are from out-of-country and were looking for a Chicago steak experience. We found this restaurant on Eater Chicago with aged beef. Looked perfect. When we arrived, the staff was very welcoming. The music was a bit loud and we asked if they could turn it down. Which they did graciously. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. Nutty because of the age. The belgian-style fries spot-on. Very good!! Meat selection is tasty and they know how to cook it perfectly. Fries/dipping sauce are phenomenal as well. A/C didn't seem to be working well so it was pretty hot and things are pricey but still overall worth it!
