disappointing – this was my first spa experience - a gift from my husband - and unfortunately not as great as the website looks. the place was really dirty - heavy dust on everything, but at least they were cleaning up toe clippings as i sat getting my pedicure. the 'relaxing' lunch room is a cubby hole with wires hanging down in bad need of paint, right next to the washing machines & staff smoking. no footies for my feet after the pedicure either - i was told i should have brought my own. their toenail dryers were old and b... read more
First Spa Visit – This was my first spa visit and I have to say that I'm hooked. The staff was great and took time to explain everything to me. They didn't rush me at all. I had the lunch and it was great. The building was kinda small (no showers). I would recommed it.
Services – I paid for a salt body wrap which was described one way on their web site and what was done was totally different plus additional charges were added for things they used but never ask me if I wanted them.
Dirty – I went to the Body Cafe to get my hair cut & styled. The salon section was filthy. The stylist did not even clean or sweep up the previous client's hair from the floor. The service was also poor.
Heaven on Earth – No words can describe how wonderful I felt after my massage. James was my masseuse and I highly recommend him. The Body Cafe is very accommodating and wants to make sure you have a perfect experience. For a massage, they ask you how much pressure you want and if there's anything specific that's hurting you before you go in. I felt very comfortable and relaxed and didn't want to leave. best massage ever!!! – I often treat myself to massages as a way of relaxing if I have had a stressful month at work. I recently found the Body Cafe and have found my new retreat. James was my therapist and it was one of the best massages that I have ever received. I definitely recommend his services to anyone looking for and enjoyable massage.
Heavenly – This was my first experience getting a professional massage. I have to say it was better than I could have ever expected. The staff was courteous and, well, professional. My certified massuese, Marika, was absolutely incredible! Obviously a great massage is the best stress-reliever, and leaves you floating on air the rest of the day--this is the perfect place to get one. Highly, highly recommended. I'm definitely going back.
