If you are a ux designer, this place is your enemy. You can't tell if a room is broken, and certain lights or switches don't work or if the puzzle is hard. The whole make a lot of mistakes, we won't tell you the rules concept really sucks when you are waiting for a room, and then you fail out, to wait in line again. Also, bathrooms seem to also be quests, you don't know if a sink is a puzzle, or doesn't work. Or if there is a way to clear a flooded sink.

Went here for my birthday after not going for 3-4 years. The front desk staff was snippy and rude with my group, but you really don’t have to interact with the staff much so it was whatever. But they allowed so many people in that it was impossible to find a room without a line, therefore whenever you failed (which was inevitable), if you wanted to retry you’d have to wait in a whole new line just to restart.
