Great view didn't make up for average food & awful service – We went to Boccaccio's to celebrate a birthday. There were 10 adults in our party and we were seated at a large round table with a very nice view of the lake. Drink orders were taken promptly and delicious warm bread was brought to the table. Our waiter wasn't rude, but wasn't friendly either and didn't even say "Happy Birthday" to my 70 year old mother (though there were balloons and flowers there to clearly indicate that fact). Exquisite little restaurant I've been there for brunch and for several dinners and was impressed each time, not just with the romantic serene atmpsphere, but the food too. The lake is the perfect backdrop and sitting outside on a warm night makes it all that more special. Everything I've had there was delicious, but if you like fish and its in season, I recommend the sea bass.
too impressive – it was my first time there. We had made reservations, so when we go there at 830 we were seated right away and the place was pretty packed. I absolutely fell in love with the setting... the amount of lighting... the boats... the walk by the lake after dinner, but I can't praise the food enough. their wine list is extensive and the Chilean Seabass was too good! I definitely recommend Boccaccio's, especially for dates!
ONE OF MY FAVORITE RESTAURANTS. THE VEAL OSCAR IS FANTASTIC.
Breathtaking View This restaurant is located right alongside the lake. It's a beautiful restaurant with great service and exquisite food. Very romantic setting for a nice quiet date night or to "pop the question."

Wonderful Restaurant ! Absolutely beautiful location – The perfect place for a causal romantic evening on a summer night. BAD FOOD! HORRIBLE SERVICE! RUDEST MANAGEMENT EVER! – We went there on Saturday for lunch. The restaurant was half empty and they seated up literally 4 feet from a 40 person bridal shower. We were basically ignored. Waited 15 minutes for an iced tea refill. We had asked for another table but were told it was reserved yet that table, along with all the others remained empty. OVERPRICED AND TINY PORTIONS OF COLD FOOD – The portions are small and very expensive. The serivce is extremely poor. The management doesn't care if customers receive satisfactory food or service and this is very clearly shown-just try speaking to a manager. This restaurant pulls people in due to location and it's unfortunate because there are many many better restaurants in the area. You will be doing yourself a favor by avoiding this restaurant. It is the worst!!
