I don't know how the one in town is, but the one in Alpharetta is poorly managed. It was pouring down rain, and between 15-20 people were squeezed inside and "in line" at 2:15 on Sunday for lunch. There was no hostess, no greeting. So, after standing there for 5 minutes, I made my way up to the front to inquire about how long the wait would be when I saw that at least half the tables in the dining room were empty! Love the burgers here! The grilled cheese and tomatoe soup is my daughters favorite. I've always had good luck when they have sangria specials too.
Waited in line for 30 minutes during lunch (expected at 1pm) only to be told that they were too busy for more orders and that there were not any tables available. This is while we were looking at 4 empty tables inside, another 2 in process of being cleared, and 3 large tables outside being cleared. We were then told we could be seated and served water but it would be another 20-30 minutes before we could even order our food (and who knows how long it would be to receive it.) What a waste of precious space at Avalon.
We stopped in before a concert at Verizon Ampitheater. Quick ordering, available seats, and Britney was a great server. Our only concern was my husband's drink did not arrive until he was almost finished with his sandwich. Otherwise, yummy burgers!!
food was awesome! worth every calorie. The concept was unique how you order upfront and then pay later but food was steller!
Best burger in town! Love the atmosphere along with the food! Herb fries are to die for!!!
