Best fresh bread and pickles. Salad was fresh cut and not bagged. Salad dressings all fresh made. Bacon strip was OUTSTANDING! The Pork Rib Chops were the best! Service was unbeatable. I will return.
Had dinner last night with hubby and friends. Had a great time and the two four ounce filet medallions melted in my mouth. The carrot was so tender and yummy sweet and the mashed potatoes to die for. The chocolate cake was so thick and fudge like it was delish. I highly recommend Bob's Steak and Chop House for any special occasion.
Food was excellent; service was lacking: 1) very slow at times; 2) over-billed for food we did not order; 3) served food we did not over; 4) it took three times to get our bill straight. To be fair it was a busy night, but our waiter was no-where to be found at times. However, the manager was gracious and did offer a resolution. The first time we ate at Bob's Steak & Chop everything was great. This time, maybe not.
Thank God for restaurant week because we would of never have found this place. The sign out front is not eye catching at all but when we came inside my eyes opened wide. The staff was wonderful, made me feel like royalty, very attentive. The food was excellent, the drinks were powerful lol. Food and service and atmosphere all outstanding.
Try the rack of lamb "lollipops," they are superb! We went for restaurant week and it was great to be able to try it at an affordable price. The dirty Bob (martini) is definitely not dirty enough and it is strong. But, it comes with excellent blue cheese stuffed olives. Everything tasted fantastic and the bread is great. Not sure if the dessert we had is their normal dessert or was on the restaurant week menu, but I would skip it. Also, don't go if you're in a rush.
