Took my car in for an air condition diagnostic they informed me I needed a new BCM which would cost $1300.00 Typically in a car the BCM controls the power windows, power mirrors, air conditioning, immobilizer system, central locking, etc. everything on the car appeared to operate normally. So I took the car to another auto shop and had them preform the same tests and all I needed was R35 refrigerant which cost me $97.00. When it comes to mechanics, it's hard to find one that will treat you honestly. Even for a guy... I found Bob's about 10 years ago after Le*s Schw*b tried to tell me my alternator needed to be replaced after I bought a battery from them. Bob took the time to actually show me that those guys were upselling me, and my alternator was fine and from then on I was sold.
