While on vacation several years ago, my sister and I stopped there for lunch and I still think about my fish sandwich. Absolutely the best anywhere! That alone was worth the drive (from Ottawa, Ontario). Gotta get back there! BTW I found your site while reading a Condé Nast page on FB.
Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent atmosphere! It is a must go to place! Much more than a hut and open year-round.
Still a solid operation, an iconic local spot, and though it attracts and thrives on the tourist custom, it's a good cut above many other going concerns that do the same. Great seafood, proprietary tartar, batter, and 'slaw; and no skimping on the portions.
Delicious food, fast friendly service, and dog friendly outdoor dining. It's the best!!!
